Getting Started

Tussock gets you from zero to your first Scout Night in minutes. This guide walks you through the three steps every new Group needs.

The setup loop

  1. Create your Group — name it (e.g. “Ainslie 1st”) and you’re the Group Owner.
  2. Invite co-leaders — send magic-link invitations so your leadership team can share the workload.
  3. Add your Scouts — one at a time, paste from a spreadsheet, or import a CSV from Extranet.

Once your roster is in, you’re ready to plan your first night.

First-login tour

The first time you sign in, Tussock offers a guided walkthrough that takes about two minutes. It runs over simulated screens — no real data is created — and covers the full loop: adding a Scout, planning a night, running attendance, awarding OAS stages, and progressing skills.

You can replay the tour any time from Group Settings > Help > Replay.
