Invite Co-Leaders
Co-leaders get full access to plan events, take attendance, and award achievements. Only the Group Owner can send invitations.
How to invite a co-leader
Section titled “How to invite a co-leader”- Go to Group > Invite co-leaders (or tap Invite co-leaders in the getting-started nav on the empty roster).
- Enter the co-leader’s email address (required).
- Optionally enter their full name so the invitation email is personalised.
- Tap Send invitation.
The invited leader receives an email with a magic link. The link is valid for 14 days. When they tap it, they authenticate and are instantly granted co-leader access to your Group.
Managing invitations
Section titled “Managing invitations”On the same page you’ll see:
- Pending invitations — each showing the name, email, and expiry (e.g. “in 12d”). You can Revoke any pending invite before it’s used.
- Current leaders — each showing their name and role (Owner or Co-leader). The Owner can Remove any co-leader.
What co-leaders can do
Section titled “What co-leaders can do”Co-leaders have full read/write access to all Scout data within the Group:
- Plan and run events
- Take attendance and adjust PAL roles
- Award OAS stages, SIA completions, and Milestones
- Manage the roster (add, edit, move Scouts)
- View reports and programming insights
What co-leaders cannot do
Section titled “What co-leaders cannot do”- Rename the Group
- Invite or remove other co-leaders
- Revoke invitation links
These administrative operations are reserved for the Group Owner.
